Rain rain go away came again another day..
It's been raining all day and I am trying to recover from a sore throat, not the best time to get sick, have a concert tomorrow in Gotenborg together with Anders Wessbo.
So today I have been siting on the couch drinking tea and listening to music. Listen to one of my favorite albums "Raising sand" a wonderful collaboration between the queen of bluegrass Alison Krauss and Robert Plant the legendary
Led Zeppelin singer.

All recordings done
This week we have been in the studio recording cello, violin, acoustic guitar.
So now all the recordings are done for our new duet = ).

So far so good and we feel so pleased with the material.
Many thanks to Viktor Olofsson for wonderful guitar playing,
Marcus Härenstam and Michelle Barth Cron for beautiful strings.
You guys brought feeling into the song and it's a
privilege to work with such talented musicians.
All the best

Bruka marknad
Here are some photos from the concert 2 weeks ago in Gothenburg.
I gave an acoustic concert at "bruka marknad" in Gothenburg.
.
There were artists who sold handiwork made of recycled material.
They made some really beautiful stuff, I am very impressed
by their work and creativity.
Be sure to check out Bruka Marknad

Duet!
Last week I told you about my new collaboration with Benjamin Pier.
(Check out his website at www.benjaminpier.com or use the link above.)

(Check out his website at www.benjaminpier.com or use the link above.)
We had a wonderful week and we felt really satisfied with the recordings.
We recorded our own singles and a duet in two different versions.
Benjamin has a powerful dance/soul voice so we recorded one version in a electro/pop genre and one with my acoustic sound.

We didn`t know how it would turn out because our voices are
so different. But it turned out great and we are both very excited to
release our new singles where the duet will be a bonus track. =)

In the studio with Benjamin Pier = )
The wonderful producers and songwriters Mikael and Sofia.
All for now
Love and peace

Cows and blues
These last 2 days me and Anders have been rehearsal for the acustic
concerts this spring and summer. It's wonderful to play with such a
talented guitarist.

Anders told us that when he was a teenager he loved to play the blues,
at this time he lived out on the countryside. Meantime he was
playing with his window wide open. As he was playing he looked up and
saw about 70 cows outside his window who loved to hear him play.
Maybe the music industry should start
to make records for cows as well = ).

Theresa Andersson - What a woman
This tueseday evening I was at a concert with Theresa Andersson . Such an inspiring woman and wonderful singer. She perfromed alone on the stage, playing the violin, guitar, drums and made vocal arrangements using her setup with effect pedals and loop pedals.
Isn't this view amazing
and she even steer her own reverb on stage with her toes. When you have seen this and heard Theresa speak about how she learnt everything you know that a strong will a lot of hard practise and of course tons of tallent can take you far. So let's go and practise some more =)
I just wanna thank Theresa for a wonderful performance and a very inspiring clinic!
Here you can see her perform in her own kitchen

I got married =)
Hi everyone!
Long time since I wrote but it's been a lot of things going on.
We are planning and working to release a new single and last Saturday I got married.
So now I got a new last name.
The day after the weeding I got a cold so I'm trying to recover to get ready for concerts next week.
Next saturday I will play at a music exhibition in Skara, there will be forums,
workshops and concerts.
And the following sunday I will give an acoustic concert at "bruka marknad"
in Gothenburg.
There will be artists who sells handiwork made of recycled material.
I have seen some of their work and it's really beautiful.
All for now and don't forget to vote for me in the "metro on stage" competition.
Love
// Annielle
